I love working with writers at any stage in their creative processes. I provide one-on-one creative consultation and editorial feedback tailored to you and your project’s unique needs. My editorial feedback includes detailed line notes, an editorial letter outlining your project’s strengths and areas to develop, and an online meeting or phone call to discuss your project. I work primarily with nonfiction, hybrid, and prose projects (both book-length and shorter), but I am also open to poetry and other genres.

Having worked with university and commercial presses, I can provide feedback and consultation on book proposals, guidance on finding an agent, query letters, and navigating the publication world. Likewise, for shorter prose pieces, I can also give advice on the submission process and insight into what publications might be best for your work. 

Before I take on a project or client, I offer a brief, no-fee consultation to gauge the project, discuss if we would be a good fit to work together, and provide a timeline for my availability. I’m, of course, happy to consider sliding scale offers and can provide references upon request.
